Sergio Messina: The Margaret Mead of Internet Porn

by Luca Celada
IT'S true of the digital times that libido drives technology, but according to my friend Sergio Messina, porn is not only the engine of the Internet but the bona fide locus of art. And he's on a mission to prove it: "At the very least it's the perfect metaphor for the potential of digital media and a new paradigm of content production, a great example of how the world should be," he says, with the same ardor I can remember him expressing about the latest Frank Zappa bootleg tape back in high school.

Miami Vices
Food, Fashion, Fairs, Oh Yeah, And Art

by Sarah Sargent
THE THING you need to know about Art Basel Miami Beach and its attendant hoopla is that it's more about people watching than anything else. My Lunch With Zak Smith, Aka Zak Sabbath

by Tulsa Kinney

Revelry Revisited (part 1)
a self-reflective travelogue by Kulov

Time passes by quickly. Or so they say. But the fall of 2007 seems like eternity ago. So much has happened in the past two years. So much has changed. Especially in the art world.
